Collective Grieving Event – Walter Art Gallery #2

The community is invited to attend this event to receive an empty, numbered suitcase from the exhibit to honor an individual in Arizona who was lost to COVID. Jen will ask recipients to agree to emotionally tend to the person’s belongings and memory, even if they don’t know exactly who that person is. Whether you have directly lost someone to COVID or not, we are all grieving. If we can address this pain and loss together, maybe we can better acknowledge the impact the pandemic has had on us all, rather than sweeping it under the rug and “moving on”.
